About Coco’s Seafood and Steakhouse
Coco’s Seafood & Steakhouse is a casual/fine dining restaurant located on the ground floor of Fowler Lake Village Condominium development in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide Oconomowoc, and surrounding Lake Country communities, an upscale dinner house featuring the freshest seafood and highest quality steak selections. Coco’s is focused on sustainably farm raised fish, which is delivered to our door as fresh as possible. Our steaks are Certified Angus Beef raised within a 200-mile radius of the restaurant.

The General Manager: Maureen Wittek
Maureen began as a server in a career that has spanned over 20 years in the restaurant industry, now culminating in her current general management position.
She credits her love of cooking and serving others to her mother, and especially her grandmother, who she loved standing beside in the kitchen making traditional Polish dishes. When a dish was served, from bean soup to one of her famous cakes, it was an event!
Her early years fostered a passion, and today her desire is to create an elegant, comfortable dining experience for Coco’s guests. She takes great pride when a guest lights up as a plate is placed in front of them. She credits Coco’s staff from the front of the house to the back, in their attention to detail in making moments like first dates and birthday celebrations – occasions to be remembered.
In her free time, not surprisingly, Maureen can be found in the kitchen cooking and baking. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children and is part of a local Oconomowoc pool league and volunteers at church activities and Haus of Peace.

The Head Chef: Luis Leon
Luis started as a dishwasher 16 years ago and has held almost every position in the kitchen working his way up to bread service, salad prep, the grill and now head chef.
When he was young, Luis helped his mother in the kitchen prepare classic Mexican dishes and upon moving to Wisconsin he was influenced with new techniques by watching a chef he greatly admired.
Luis has a passion for steak! His favorite cut is the little-known rib cap. This melt-in-your-mouth cut, he says, originates from the curved top end of the ribeye that sits against the backbone and needs to be cooked correctly! Something he enjoys trying to master.
Whatever Luis does in the kitchen he believes truly gives him a voice – he considers his food his love language and enjoys preparing dishes where guests can literally taste his expertise and passion.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He loves a good beer and game of fútbol, often cheering on Real Madrid and other teams from the Mexican and European leagues.

The Event Coordinator & Hospitality Specialist: Tracy Powell
